It’ll be worth it he assured me, as he laughed at my horrified expression.
I cringed even thinking about putting myself through such torture.
Ok, I admit.
Torture is probably a bit of an exaggeration.
But, if having a freezing cold shower could give me even some of the promised benefits, would it be worth it?
I tried it. And quit after 3 days.
Yes, I have to admit. I’m a coward.
However I recently started reading Life Force by Tony Robbins.
He talks about the incredible science behind cold therapy.
It’s beneficial for both our mental and physical health.
It can help to reduce stress, reduce inflammation, balance our hormones and lot more.
I am always interested in discovering simple and effective lifestyle changes.
Especially those that help my physical health, while also helping me to reduce stress and increase confidence.
Recently I’ve been having some physical health issues.
So I decided to go for the full 30 Day Challenge this time.
Oh boy was it difficult the first time.
And the second. And it doesn’t stop there!
But the exhilaration I feel when I step out of the shower is indescribable.
I’ve done 24 days so far.
I am determined to continue.
The thing that keeps me going is telling everyone I’m doing the challenge.
I have to keep going as I don’t want to lose face.
Following through on this promise to myself is really helping to increase my confidence too.
